Holidays and Yogis
Much to report from this end, Tate is almost 8 months old now, he started sitting up two weeks ago (at daycare of course), and his first tooth is starting to come in. He is on almost the exact same schedule as Nina for these milestones. He is such a happy and sweet child. He smiles, laughs, and plays all day long. He is also sleeping through the night pretty consistantly now. Nina continues to talk up a storm, you can have conversations with her now where she actually answers your questions instead of repeating them. The kids started a new school two weeks ago and are adjusting well to the change. I took Tate to Ohio for Erik's fortieth birthday while Sean got one on one time with Nina. Tate did very well on the plane, he smiled and flirted with everyone he saw, and we relied upon the kindness of strangers while traveling. Everyone was so festive and helpful. We had a great time in Ohio, snow was on the ground and the party was a blast. While we were away Nina attended her first movie with Sean (the Bee Movie) and ate almost a medium popcorn all by herself. She is having a most amazing time with her cousins this past week, she thrives on just being around everyone. We are actively following our beloved Jaguars who are playoff bound, and Gators who face Michigan in their bowl game, a good family rivalry. Happy New Year to all!
