Long Weekend

We enjoyed the long holiday weekend, it was very relaxing! Nina spent a half day at daycare on Friday while Sean and I did some much needed shopping, lunch, and catching up in St. Augustine. Saturday was fun, we spent the day with Nina and then she spent the night at her Nani's while Sean and I went to a Jacksonville Suns baseball game. On Sunday morning we had brunch at Nani's, and then spent the rest of the day outside doing lawn work, washing cars, and hanging out with the pups. Cousin Kai sent Nina this beautiful red hat, which is perfect for our summer walks. Nina is enjoying solids, she loves the orange veggies, carrots and sweet potatoes are a big hit! She is less enthusiastic about bananas, (which i found strange, perhaps it is the texture?) we will try green peas this weekend. She is rolling around a lot, but not sitting up on her own yet, we are working on that. Our dog Luther is doing much better these days, he has calmed down considerably and is very sweet. He is still digging swimming pools in the backyard, but other than that he is a loveable and rambunctious dog.
