The Holiday Season

I can't believe that it is the middle of December already! This holiday season has been a whirlwind. The four of us went to Ohio to my sister's house for Thanksgiving. It was a great trip. We had a direct flight that left at a reasonable hour, one of the photos is of the kids at the airport. Nina was a peach, she enjoyed the entire experience. She even pottied on the plane! She loved the flight attendant bringing her juice and a snack, and watching takeoff from her window seat. Tate did very well on the way out, he even slept for an hour or so. They both really enjoyed spending time with their cousins, Nina didn't give Alicia a break for four days. Alicia shared her room with Nina and took complete care of her; reading to her, working on crafts, taking her to the potty...It was great.
December has been busy, we are knee deep in Holiday parties and school festivities. Tate's vocabulary continues to grow. We try to encourage him to use words to express his feelings but it is difficult because Nina always answers for him. He is incredibly cute and mischevious. He has taken to pulling her hair and looking at me with a sweet grin when I scold him. I am hoping to get a new camera so that our Christmas photos are sharper. Ritu, Erik, Alicia, Max, and Evan are heading to Jax next week, can't wait!
